Number of pull ups while holding breath beneath the Red Sea (Egypt)
If you thought you knew how to hold your breath, think again. Free diver Ramy Abdelhamid completed 33 pull-ups underwater on a single breath. All of this happened after descending nine metres into the Red Sea on August 2nd, 2024.
Longest distance covered whilst performing a split on two moving ATVs (UAE & Syria)
In a feat that blends flexibility, coordination and risk, Abdulla Alhattawi and Mohamed Alblooshi teamed up with Syrian athlete Yara Khdair. With Khdair performing a full split across two moving quad bikes, the team covered 470 metres in Dubai on October 14th, 2024.
Most 360 spins hanging by the teeth in 30 seconds (Syria)
Syrian athlete Yazan Saleh pushed the limits of endurance, control and dental insurance by completing multiple 360-degree spins while suspended by his teeth in under 30 seconds in Dubai on October 16th, 2025.
He had previously set a record for the fastest time to pull a car over 30 metres using his teeth, completing the feat in 18.31 seconds in 2022, before it was later surpassed.
Longest duration to maintain a Straddle Human Flag position on a flying helicopter (Lebanon)
If you're scared of heights, look away. Lebanese fitness expert Samer Madi held a straddle human flag position on a flying helicopter for 21 seconds at Rene Mouawad Air Base on November 16th, 2025.
Most full body revolutions maintaining a chest stand in one minute (Palestine)
Mohamed Al-Sheikh, often referred to as “Spider-Boy” from Gaza, achieved 38 full-body revolutions in under a minute. At just 13 years old, he broke the record in Amman on February 9th, 2017.
Heaviest vehicle pulled by hair (UAE)
A standout strongman with an enviable hair care routine, Mahmood Shamshun-Al Arab, demonstrated extraordinary strength by pulling a 10,380 kg truck using only his hair in Fujairah on December 2nd, 2017, during UAE National Day celebrations.
Heaviest ship pulled by teeth (Egypt)
Ashraf Mahrous, widely known as Ashraf “Kabonga", holds multiple world records, but this one was a true test of gumption and gums as he pulled a 720.332-ton ship using only his teeth in Hurghada on September 27th, 2025.
Heaviest vehicle Pulled over 100 ft with teeth (Egypt)
Continuing his streak, Kabonga pulled a 7,225 kg truck over a distance exceeding 100 feet using only his teeth in El Sharkia on October 31st, 2025. With three records set in just a few months, his run shows little sign of slowing.
Most cars pulled by an individual, male (Egypt)
Ashraf “Kabonga” reappears with another feat of strength, pulling 20 cars in Al Safwa on August 1st, 2025, further cementing his reputation as one of the region’s most prolific record breakers.
Most consecutive football touches with the feet while paragliding (UAE)
Emirati athlete Ammar Alkhudhiri (“Ammar Freez”) took football to new heights, completing 127 consecutive touches while paragliding over Sharjah on June 9th, 2023. It is part of a growing collection of records involving football under extreme conditions.
Most football sole touches on a moving vehicle in 30 seconds, team of two (UAE)
Emirati freestyle specialists Ammar Alkhudhiri (“Ammar Freez”) and Abdulla Alhattawi combined precision and coordination to achieve this record. With Alhattawi driving a quad bike and Freez balancing in a pike handstand while juggling the ball, the duo completed 23 touches in 30 seconds at the Dubai Police Academy on November 4th, 2025.
Most people angle diving (skydiving) simultaneously (Egypt)
You've never seen the pyramids like this. Organised by the World Peace Movement, this record brought together 25 skydivers from 12 nationalities for a synchronised angle dive above the Giza Plateau on November 1st, 2024. The event symbolized global unity, a “peace in motion”, set against the backdrop of one of the world’s most historic landmarks.
